Successful entrepreneurs all have on thing in common, they are never happy with the money they have made. It doesn’t matter if you are making $10,000 a year or $1 million a year. There is always room for growth. When you realize that growth can happen…it will. If you are content with the way things are, growth will not be a possibility in your future. Below are (3) easy ways that you can use to take your business to the next level…into a profit making machine.
1. Always track your statistics.
This may seem like a “no brainer”, but most people don’t do this step. You should always track and gather as much information as you can when it comes to promoting your website. Track purchases, visitors, etc. With all this knowledge, you will be more informed about how your marketing is doing and where you can increase and focus your advertising dollars.
2. Outsource your work to people you can trust.
When it comes to my websites, I have one person who writes almost full time for me. I can send her topics for websites and articles, and she will research and write very well thought out articles for me. I know that she will be there for me even if I need her at the last minute. I also have the convenience of paying her in advance as well. You should definitely seek out those people that you can trust. Some examples would be your family members, or even friends who can help you out in a pinch.
3. Develop a passion for what you do.
Sometimes I need to remind myself of why I love doing what I am doing, and usually a drive through the country helps me to remember that. It’s easy to get caught up in the battle of customer service and trying to meet deadlines, but when I am out of my business element is when I am most productive. Revive your passion by using this time away. The next time you think that it’s impossible for your business to make money, try putting these (3) easy steps into practice.
Do you like embedding videos on your websites and capture pages, but don’t like when it shows the related videos and search bar at the end of the video when it stops? Well, you can now take that out thanks to some YouTube enhancements. Watch the video below and I demonstrate how this is done:
Hey Guys and Gals…I found this tool that will mass delete your direct messages after you have read them. Saves you a lot of time from deleting them one by one. Check out the video below that will show you how to use it.
The short answer to this question is…Yes, you should advertise your business on Twitter. The follow up answer is, “As long as you do it properly”. The one thing that I see a lot of people doing is creating a twitter account, getting some friends and start spamming their links every 5 – 10 minutes.
That is the WORST thing that you can do. Let me ask you the same question in a different way…If you were invited to a party by someone, would you start pitching your online business to everyone your meet as soon as you walk in the door? Of course you wouldn’t. It would turn people off, and make them want to avoid you at all cost. You need to think of social media websites (i.e. – Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, etc) as a bunch of parties. When you come to these parties, you need to establish some kind of relationship with these people. You start out having small talk with them…talk about your family and friends, the weather, etc.
Eventually, the question that you are waiting for will come up…What do you do for a living, or how do you earn an income? This is when you have an opening to talk about your opportunity. You still don’t want to hammer them over the head about your business, just hit some of the highlights of what you do and how it gives you the freedom to do a lot of things that you normally wouldn’t be able to do.
By establishing a relationship with people first will help your business out in the long run. Just remember one thing…People normally will only buy from those who they know, like and trust. How can you fill any of those requirements unless you first develop a relationship with the people you meet?
When you are ready to use Twitter for your business, I would recommend a very good training course on what to do on Twitter to help monetize your relationships. It’s called Twitter Success, and it has helped many people by teaching the correct way to use Twitter for your business. Click on the image below to find out more…
Hey Guys…Had a GREAT summer vacation this year with the family, and I thought that I would post a picture that shows a nice beach scene from our hotel balcony. Can’t wait to get away with the family again next year.
Whenever I am having a rough day, I just pull up this picture and remember what a great time we had…
